With lung cancer, early detection is the key to prevention. Here are the signs that you should not ignore:
Persistent cough that lingers for months
Change in voice or hoarseness
Constant chest pain, shoulder pain and upper back pain for no particular rhyme or reason
Wheezing or shortness of breath
Blood in phlegm
Recurrent pneumonia or bronchitis
Weight loss or lack of appetite
Abnormal breast growth in men more

Thank you for sharing helpful info. on Lung cancer, my father was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. He did not show any of the symptoms except cough which was attributed to low rbc count by the doctors. His chest x ray was normal and bone marrow biopsy was done about 8 months ago which was normal as well so the Haematoligist prescribed him Iron and B12 shots. Couple of months ago, family doctor suggested CT scan as his cough wad not going away. Scan results showed lung masses and PET scan/biopsy confirmed lung cancer. My father is currently undergoing chemo sessions. I am praying tumours will shrink with the trestment as surgery was not an option due to the proximity to arteries. I totally understand this journey is a roller coaster and is not easy to cope. I am very thankful that my dad has very good will power and he is staying positive through his journey/fight against cancer. more

This is really usefull info. My nana recently got diagnosed with lung cancer. I got really usefull info from this group I came across on Fb.
