LoC violations by Pakistan

Being a stronger nation militarily, India should show some kind of strength at the border. People are getting more and more frustrated every day because of the inaction from the Govt. War may not be an option and but being bullied is even worse than that. Please respond effectively so that enemy thinks twice before repeating the same mistake again and again and again. more

J&K comprises Jammu region, Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh region. The claim by Pakistan is not just over the Kashmir Valley but more or less over the entire state. With the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits /Hindus, the demographic profile of the Valley has been drastically altered. Militants find it easier to blend with the local In the valley. Political parties in the Valley have played and overused the Pak Card. That is the basis of existence thus far. Its been a habit for 67 years. How easy its going to be to change is something I'll leave untouched. The terrain along the LoC is rough and rugged. Mountains are such that they tend to eat manpower. The more you deploy, the less it seems. Fencing is not a solution at a number of places. Infiltration can be controlled, not stopped, by aggressive posturing. Need equipment and ammunition to support the soldiers. All this requires finances. Is the problem in J&K that of the Army or the nation? Why did the nation keep quiet when the Kashmiri Pandits were being forced to leave? There are many more related issues which warrant attention. A narrow view and inaction by successive Govts has led to a muddled situation. A strong political will is required to sort out this muddle. So far this strong political will has been conspicuous by its absence. more
Kashmir is different from Jammu and Ladhakh. Pakistan thinks it has a right on Kashmir just because that area had Muslim majority at the time of independence. However the raja of Kashmir decided to come to India. Right after Independence Pakistan invaded us and took half of Kashmir from us. Pakistan has been training terrorists and sending them to India to create trouble for us . To divert the attention of public from local poor governance Pakistan keeps talking of getting Kashmir independence from India. In fact the truth is that the Muslim Kashmiris have more independence in India than in Pakistan. Pakistani Kashmir has been flooded with Afghans and other ethnic people. However Indian Muslim Kashmiris do not realize this. We need to educate them especially girls as mothers are the first teachers of children, better job opportunities, better law and order, better judicial system and educating them true history. We need to be very vigilant that no terrorist cross over from the Pakistani side. They have made tunnels, they keep attacking us. Terrorist coming from Pakistan and attacking us will undo all gains. We need to do all we can to prevent terrorist infiltration and improve education and economic situation of Indian Kashmiris. more
When we say Kashmir, which area are we referring to? more
Giving Kashmir independence is same as bringing the terrorist groups closer to Delhi. It doesn't help India. Only way is to develop Kashmir and provide proper education and training so that youth's in Kashmir spends their time constructively. India can do that. But on the border, unless Pakistan is given a stern message to talk rather than violate the border, none of these are achievable. So be strong when you have to. Double mind on any issue will not show the right path. Pakistan will not allow India to take the peace efforts forward unless a strong message is sent. more
We cant do any thing about Kashmeer. Most of the citizens of kashmeer are frustrated with both India and Pakistan. Its important to keep peace. We cant just force people to accept one country if they dont want to. Kabhi kashmeer ja k haal dekho vahan ka. Ya kashmeeri logon se baat karo. Sab samaj aa jayega aapko. Ye jung sirf pyaar aur aman se jeeti ja sakti hai. Both countries are nuclear sufficient, War means sucide for both the nations. Enough war, Lets talk peace now. more
