All about Antibiotics

Antibiotics –’ Anti’ means against and ‘biotic’ means living micro-organisms namely bacteria. So antibiotics should be taken only to deal with bacterial infection and not to treat viral or fungal diseases.

The general recommended dosage of antibiotics is 2 – 3 times a day. But never self-medicate because anything excess can lead to digestive complications.

Most importantly, take the antibiotics as recommended by your doctor and do not discontinue it when you feel better after few day.
Usually, antibiotics have to be taken after meals. But in some case your doctor might recommend taking before or with meals. Whatever might be the case, avoid spicy food and alcohol when taking these medications.

Antibiotics also attack the gut bacteria, which is actually beneficial for the body, along with the harmful bacteria. You should include probiotics or curd in your meals to boost the gut flora and counter attack the harmful effects of the antibiotics.

Make sure you drink 2 – 3 litres of water every day. You can also drink fresh fruit juices to keep your body hydrated when taking antibiotics as it helps in flushing out the harmful chemicals from the body.
During the course of medication, it is important to eat easy-to-digest and non-salty food as your digestion will be slightly affected. Also, stay away from oily food and make sure you practice portion control (eat small meals frequently).

You can take antacids and vitamin supplements when on antibiotics. But preferably avoid taking iron supplements during the course of medication. You can continue your intake of calcium supplements.

You can perform light exercises or yoga to boost your metabolism when you are on antibiotics. This will not only make you feel active, but also help in fighting the disease. But ensure you perform them regularly without fail.

Last but not the least, it is quite common to experience digestive problems like constipation or diarrhoea. But that doesn’t mean you stop taking medications. Consult your doctor and inform him/her about the same. He may change the medications. more

yOU SHOULD CONTACT RAJIV GANDHI CANCER INSTITUTE, DELHI FOR ANY CANCER PROBLEM. more
There need to be a public awareness campaign on over dependency on medical doctors, and the need to have faith in the self repairing capability of our body system. The amount of chemical drugs we consume are actually highly harmful to the body, and continuous and repeated intake can damage the internal organs especially kidneys. One of the reasons for the increased incidence of kidney diseases in the country is over intake of medicines. Where ever possible we should avoid allopathic drugs. At the same time the advanced bio-engineering has helped patients in diagnosis of the diseases, that one should certainly avail. more
MAGGIE PADEGI,BADI MEHNGI,ZARA BACHKE RAHNA,NESTLE KI CHAAL SE.
BACHO KO BACHA KE RAKHNA PYARE,ISKI NAMKILI, CHATKARI MISAAL SE.
AKELI NAHI HAI YEH MAGGI, ISKE HAZARO BHAI- BAHANO KE JAAL SE.

TODAY MAGGIE HAS BEEN CAUGHT RED-HANDED TOMORROW SOMETHING ELSE N DAY AFTER SOME MORE PRODUCTS, SHALL BE FOUND UNWHOLESOME.BETTER NOT WAIT FOR REPORTS ON ALL OF THEM.
LET'S RESORT TO HOME MADE/NATURAL THINGS,THEY ARE SAFER AND WE CAN EASILY RELY ON OURSELVES AND THE MOTHER NATURE.We, especially our children must avoid using/eating all market prepared/processed/preserved meals/products (including continuous use of mobile/internet)only because their products are well known due to repeated advts by stars, celebrities, their big claims/warranties, tasty but unsafe due to,unnatural chemicals/spices/preservatives/colors,attractive packaging, their brand names,or free schemes attached thereto, or that the producer is a famous/big/international Company etc. because of the simple reason that the SELLERS ALWAYS TAKE CARE TO MAXIMIZE THEIR PROFITS and never THINK OF OUR/OUR CHILDREN'S HEALTH,HAPPINESS N WELL BEING. All SUCH TRICKS today are big TRAPS put by companies and we/our children fall prey to their tricks,so easily.
PREPARE/PROCESS EATABLES AT HOME N BE HEALTHY/HAPPY,
SINCE THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE/SHORTCUT TO HEALTHY LIVING OTHER THAN HOME MADES.

THERE IS ONE MORE REASON ATTACHED TO HOME-MADE THINGS.
WHEN THE MOTHER/ FATHER/WIFE/SISTER/BROTHER PREPARE SOMETHING FOR SELF/FAMILY MEMBERS' USE,THEIR MOTIVE BEHIND IS NOT PROFIT BUT GOOD VIBRATIONS OF HEALTH/HAPPINESS/WELL BEING OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS.THIS HAS VERY POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE HOME MADE FOOD WE EAT N
SUCH GOOD VIBRATIONS R ALWAYS MISSING WHEN WE EAT THE MARKET PREPARED/PROCESSED EATABLES,HOWSOEVER TASTY
THEY APPEAR TO BE. more
