Living with Disability in India - Key Issues
Dear Friends,
As it stands today, India is not a friendly country for People with Disability or Special Needs. There is limited understanding in our society on the subject and the infrastructure (healthcare, education or general facilities) is mostly missing.
The objective of this review and the whitepaper generated from it is to make India more friendly for People with Disability.
With this post, we want your inputs on the issues people with disability face in India. This includes both kids and adults.
Once we list all the issues, we will run a separate post on Root Causes and Solutions leading to the whitepaper which can be submitted to the various Ministries for action.
