We can not do justice.... more
We can not justice by celebrating birthdays of numerous individuals. Govt. and public together can celebrate FREEDOM FIGHTER'S DAY or Shaheed Diwas in memory of freedom fighters and all forces army, police, para-military and those who do supermen sacrifice in line of duty to the Nation. Let this idea invite public opinion at large. more
Thank you for reminding us of Shahid Khudiram Bose and his birthday. Can we make a list of all who sacrificed their lives to get us the freedom we enjoy today, a couple of lines about what they did and introduce in school history instead of teaching glory of all the tyrants, their wives, "Lord" Cornwallis, etc.? Here is a list of Freedom fighters I remember - Laxmi-Bai, Neta-ji, Udham Singh, Chandrasekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose, Lal-Bal_Pal, ... There must be a few million that died for the freedom of India. Some from Royal Navy of Bombay also should be recognized for revolting, instead of accepting slavery all their lives. Without them, Brits would not have left. My Special gratitude to all those women from Malaysia of Indian origin (mostly Tamil, I guess) who joined Azad Hind Fauj and faught for our freedom, when our so called "leaders" were wearing bangles and begging for Representation in Government and "dominion status" in our own country with good positions for themselves, to be frank. Thank you for posting this message. more
