Justice delayed is Justice denied. What is the use of justce when a person seeking justice is dead or bedridden. More judiciary courts with adequate judiciary staff , with less court holidys may help in clearing back logs. more
One school of thought says " InIndia Law is an ASS and all Judges are A se Holes" i was just wondering whether the above said thought is still valid ? now i feel Yes its still valid. let us take the latest eg of CM Jayalalitha whose case is still running for past 18yrs, now Suprme court has given her 4 months extn. what we require is bloody revolution where in we need to eliminate some 100nos judiciary, 800nos politician , 500nos Beurocrats who are corrupt and unwanted in current national politics. this happened in Iran revolution and Russian revolution. we want somebody like Subhash Chandra Bose to do it. more
Let the Govt start two shifts for the Courts, high courts and the Supreme courts to clear the backlogs. We need to have more men in the judiciary.-deepak de more
I was wondering as to how many days the Supreme court works in a year. Apart from 104 Saturdays and Sundays, summer holidays (53 days including Saturdays and Sundays), holi festival holidays (6) Christmas vacation (13 days including Saturdays and Sundays), and a month of other holidays the court actually sits for only 189 days in a year. Being the trend setter and and a guide for the nation is it worthwhile to enjoy this luxury of closing the court for almost five months in a year. No wonder the cases are piling up and so the agony. Is there any scope to curtail the holidays. Only the learned judges of the apex court can answer. (or is it a contempt of court matter?) more
