Law against Rape

Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modiji,
Mr. Rajendra Pratap Guptaji
and to all the miniters, politicians of India.

As a citizen of India, I would like to ask you a simple question. "Isn't rape a crime which is justified enough to have 'Death' punishment ?"

Not only me but hundreds, thousands and millions of Indians share a similar opinion. However, it seems that the governing bodies and the government do not share the same opinion. I have to say, not very little but nothing has been done by the government to avoid this crime. Although, the rape accused is a culprit but he is not the only one. Governing bodies are equally responsible for this rape.

I am not sure but I think not having a strict law against rape encourages below
1) Corruption
2) Unsafe environment for women
3) Threat and impact on tourism
4) Sex rackets
And many more.
These are the forums which have been discussed and I believe having a 'Death' punishment against rape is one of the resolutions to all these forums.

I am not sure what you are waiting for ? Thousand more women, girls to be raped ? more

Anukulji, surely your perspective of looking at this is totally different from mine. But, the point which you are still ignoring is the fact that having a strong rule will help reduce the crime against the fear of death. Although, I am sure it won't completely eliminate crime but would be a positive step against rape. Government should be responsible for not having this of years because definitely it would had made a difference. Having said so, it is better to be late rather than doing nothing. So, government should step up and implement this law. On the other hand surely it is a person and his character which plays a crucial role whether he should commit crime. But, it will take many years to have this kind of mentality among all men. more
I've my personal experience with police. I'm taking follow up from them last 30 days again one bugger. That guy is completely frod and worst thing that guy is targeting girls for sexual harassment and blackmailing. I've submitted all proof against him. Like his Facebook accounts, M. P. ciyber cell report, mobile numbers, 3 complaints/ application already given in 3 different police office.(1- M. P. Cyber cell. 2- Chatursinghi police station Pune. 3- Mohan Nagar police chowki Pune). Police called that bugger many time to report police station, but still that person did not report at that police station. Now when I'm talking to Policemen, then his responses I'm busy, call me after 2 days, his senior response- talk to that policeme. WOW My personal investigation against that bugger. He have multiple names, he is doing multiple jobs and business, good communication and convincing skills, but actually he is nothing, he is just dangerous person for society. No proper action taken by policemen and his senior, I feel they are waiting for big crime, and hope then they'll take some action. This is Indian Police. "Jai Bharat" more
