Karnataka Election Result

PM held roadshows and rallies in Karnataka requesting voters to vote for BJP. Unfortunately BJP lost. In my humble opinion the reasons for BJP losing are listed below:
1. Perhaps PM is not aware that Anti-People policies of his team of ministers is responsible for BJP losing.
2. Rail Minister has hurt middle class senior citizens by withdrawing existing facility of Senior Citizen Concession.
3. Rail Minister has removed Concession for Handicapped Persons whom PM calls Divyangjans.
4. Finance Minister has caused tremendous financial loss to middle class citizens, who somehow managed to buy a flat in a Cooperative Housing Society. Members have to pay 18% GST on their contribution towards common expenses if it exceeds 7500 per month. This amounts to double taxation.
There was no service tax on member’s contribution towards common expenses as housing societies are formed for convenience. In metro cities housing societies have large number of flats and with rising prices of services the monthly contribution is also more.
Cooperative Housing Societies are not Business entities even than 18% GST is collected.
5. As soon as BJP came to power at Centre the first step to hurt Senior Citizens, who do not get Pension was implemented by FM. Interest rate of Senior Citizens Savings Scheme 2004 was drastically reduced to 7.4% from 9.3%. It is to be noted that SCSS2004 was started as a welfare scheme for retirees from private sector @9% interest on maximum allowed investment of 15 Lakhs only to provide a regular income stream.
The interest rate was to be revised upwards as per inflation. Now the interest rate is 8.2% but still less than 9.3%.
6. All petitions addressed to PM and other Ministers have fallen on deaf ears. There is a website for sending your grievance to PM. I have tried to bring above grievances to PM’s notice but without success. As the grievance is forwarded to concerned department and after 3 months file is closed. more

Most of the reasons have been well explained. Before 2019 (Pre Covid) Middle Class specially Senior Citizens could survive reasonably. Non Pensioner Senior Citizens are WORST AFFECTED. High Inflation, Reduced Interest Rates, Increased Medical Expenses are the biggest KILLERs. Modi Govt if they want to win future State and Central Elections, then they have to pay attention towards this. Only Infrastructural Development is not the solution. Govt has to see the Current survival of Middle class and Non Pensioner senior Citizens. more
I think if BJP improve infrastructure snd other facilities too much BJP will lose the majority votes, because people are perhaps fed up with it. Why take away olf facilities more
Some how manage to purchase flat and paying more than Rs 7500 only as mtce are they not contradictory statements. more
Educated people don't get in trape of Hiways hindu Muslim play .modi done nothing but always blame or abused Congress leader modi done nothing except fashion show and makeup he is survived by selling assets build by Congress actually modi is uneducated person and playing same British game more
goahead BJP - Do development all over India , also population control law is must to get more benifit to Tax paying persons. example one Apple eating 100 people and that Apple 10 people eating is the difference more
