ITC is doing profiteering
Just got the idea after Kajals post. Everyone can help with this cause of catching profiteers. Go in your home and find a bottle of a shampoo, bodywash, toothpaste purchased pre gst and go on amazon/flipkart to find current price. High chance they have not passed tax benefit to us.
ITC the Deepika Padukon advertised fiama de willis has also done profiteering or मुनाफ़ाख़ोरी from consumer.
The mrp of bodywash pre gst was 185 rupees. After nov gst rate was reduced from 28 to 18 pct so price should have gone in 165 range but new mrp as attached is 199.
So dont pass benefit to consumer but instead charge more. Such companies should face immediate raids. more

There is no need to compare with the old gst items. Let the GST enforcement squad make rounds in the market and take action. It will have impact, rather than our reporting and after than proceeding with action. more

This is the standard buissness practice of looting and the MNCs are best in this. There is a government agency to monitor this but is non existent basically because they don't tell the common man about their existence. This is the tragedy in our country. The concerned agencies dosent give proper advertisement and educate the public. The result buissenesers loots us. Hope the concerned are listening. Put the nation first. more

How do you think the Government runs? On Taxes deposited by 10% of Population? The Corporate Houses are Ofcourse there to Make Profits (with Government's Help) & they also help the Government back in turn so you see the Freebees and Splurge during Election time. And Ofcourse poor Deepika Padukone also needs pocket money....doesn't hurt to take few rupees extra from Brand conscious women. No? more

The root of course is India's shoddy law making and governance which allows the privates sector to loot in the image of the public sector and the governemnt. more

the consumer is only looking at the GST brought down from 28% to 18% .... what about the hike in every other sector that affects the manufacturing cost of the product???? Why is it that the consumer fails to look at the cost of oil,power,property tax, commercial tax,labour etc etc that have been on the rise ??? Who will bear the cost??? more
