Since 3 months I have stated paying online on a gas booking. On the site it says some discount if paid online. When you pay online they charge you convenience fee and the total amount comes to be more than the actual amount. For example Gas booking amount was 550 but I paid 556.60. So next time I will pay in cash. Delhi Metro is also bringing in recharge through debit/credit card. I will never recharge through it if their is any convenience fee. Govt should remove all/any charges for using online transactions, swipe transactions. Every-time I book a train ticket online, I have to pay 1.8% + taxes, using my debit/credit card. This should go to promote digital India. more  

Most shopkeepers demand cash payment even if they have Poes machines and ask for 2% extra if you insist on paying by Credit or Debit card which is what the bank charges them for facilitating payment by card. This discourages rather than encourage cashless transaction. more  

Govt rewards farmers who commit suicide, an illegal act. But govt charges when we do e-payments, as desired by govt. For e-transactions, keep fixed monthly fee of Rs.100 and encourage acct holder to do more / unlimited transactions. Charging per transaction fee will discourage us. more  

No extra charge for payments with credit or debit cards. If extra charge to be paid, cash payment become cheaper. Why any one one pay extra. more
