It is a shame you pick and choose which grievance you pick to respond. Apart from Consumer complaints, even 40+ lawyers protested and walked out against Telangana Consumer Judge. But you are silent. Better close down your department and remove Local Circles as all this means nothing if you fail to provide Justice more  

I have been posting my grievance in local circles for about 4 weeks now and all I get from Department of Consumer Affairs is SILENCE. What is wrong with you guys? Because of your indifferent attitude, every NRI and all future generations of NRIs are going to hate India and Indian administration. If you believe in GOD, you will be punished in the court of God for not carrying your duty more  

Instead of wasting your time and other consumers time asking for inputs, just call for a meeting of all State & Union Territory Consumer Court Judges for a day meeting and give strict directives based on the recent comment by Honorable Chief Justice (in the presence of Honorable Prime Minister) that Courts should do more to clear pending cases. If needed setup additional courts on weekends instead of enjoying holidays like school children. Though I got cheated first by fraudster builder Aliens Developers and then by Telangana State Consumer Court, I am willing to contribute Rs 5 lakhs towards this judges meet to align the enforcement of policies. Instead of bribing some one for their self benefit, I am happy to give this money to the Indian Govt for a good cause. Will some one at the Dept of Consumer Affairs now respond to this suffering NRI? more  

Hare Krishna ji. I am also of the opinion that there must be an INDEPENDENT MINISTRY to deal with Consumer Cases, so that due attention is given to this system. Vacant posts in the Consmer Forums and Commissions be got filled up immediately so that consumer may get justice quickly and he does not suffer for a long time. Regards more
