Interest on EPF

Its going to be 3 years since you left. You have't withdrawn so far, must be some plan. f you have any plan to join some service, its ok, otherwise there is no point of retaining the balance in fund. You might be aware of UP, EPF funds fraud case for which UP govt. is following with crime & finding recovery of funds difficult.
Better to withdraw, if no service plan. more

Thank you Agarwal ji... I have already transferred my PF and received the Pension Certificate for my EPF contribution. I was not aware that the EPF certificate need to be kept until me reaching 58 years. more
Thanks for your response. I am informed that interest continues on the balance amount till the age of 55, but interest is taxable after contribution is stopped to the account. If this is true then it better to continue. Pl clarify. more
Couple of questions: 1. Can I apply for withdrawal online or I have to go there personally? 2. Is there any implication on IT on the withdrawal amount? 3. If I don't withdraw will I still continue to get interest on the amount? Thank you in advance for the answer. more
