Initial booking amount of JIO Mobile device neither refunded nor device given.

Reliance JIO, few years back launched their Mobile Handset by Nita Ambani at Lalbaugh Cha Raza Ganapati Mandal.
Mr Mukesh Ambani in Reliance AGM had declared to launch these Handsets, by giving Live Demos with few lucrative schemes like refund of Rs.1500 (purchase price) after 3 years of usage.
Hence many people had done bookings by paying advance Rs.500 (which they had asked as initial payment for booking order, balance at the time of delivery).
Many people have neither received Mobile Instrument, nor getting back their Rs.500
No one replies on Toll free number, nor in JIO Office for this initial instrument sold.
Old staff has left the organisation.
Now no one knows where to go and ask for refund.
If anyone knows, please throw some light on this. more

There are no reasons to believe that the Reliance has become the No.1 company and Mukesh Ambani the richest man of the country strictly on the principle of 'honesty'. It is a common belief that honesty never makes a man 'billionair'. I would suggest you to take up the matter directly with Mukesh Ambani in writing. It is proved now that correspondence through electronic media is a failure rather it facilitate fraudulent transactions and correspondence. more  
I personally have not experienced it but if it is happening, it is a shame on Reliance like company. All such sufferers should come together and file a joint suit/public interest litigation/Class suit to make it realise that it is not above law. more  
Please place your claim and Jio should respond, in case there is a valid claim. more  
Why purchase a mobile set which can be used in only one specified network? There is nos of set available in the market with reasonable price. Now I think only option to knock the door of consumer court. more  
this is nothing unusual in our system, once you booked and paid a small amount, now it's their turn toplay the game, overall supoort of N---- is on the head. So wait for an aache din with Rs.1500. Advise only not to stepin such trap in future. Such invitation always comes to one when there is a turmoil. more
