Inefficient banks of India

Banks in India aren’t just pathetic in their tech, operations are also in bad state.

Wife Had to wait 30+ days to get a new current account in HDFC Bank. Had to wait 45 days to get a debit card

Regulators should prioritise consumer exp not privacy policy, which people don't care about anyways more  

Yes, I positively agree with you Mr. Shukla. Every bank is becoming worse day by day. Some banks do not have Rs.100/- or less denominations, only Rs.500/-; most banks do not have their passbook printing machines up to date, they are always failing and long lines are there for people to waste their time; some banks do not give receipts of the documents they accept and keep harassing the customer that no documents have been given, then how come you have opened the account and we are operating the same for the past one year!????? The government wants to make everything digital but what about the security of our accounts? Can they guarantee these? There are numerous cons and there are some banks where the personnel change every two/three months so you do not know who you have to turn to for help. more  
Had very bad experience with hdfc, even though I already have a savings account. Finally, opened an account in another bank for my daughter. As for technology, there are glaring issues in HDFC's online banking. Have brought this to the notice id tech team and the CTO. MO resolutions so far. more  
surprising to hear about hdfc .You should send it to their ceo as a grievances about the branch . more
