INDIA'S POLICY ON POWER GENERATION more

Environmental changes is already playing havoc all over the world and more so in our country and it is clear that use of fossil fuels is the main cause. Fortunately solar and other renewable energy sources, comparatively of recent origin is a boon for us compared to many advanced countries. This is an accepted fact. Unfortunately our people are not enlightened on this aspect. In Germany ''Citizens form cooperatives to drive the energy transition''. We should encourage peoples cooperation/ participation for Solar and other renewable sources instead the Government trying to do everything. This will also reduce energy losses substantially. more

Since 2 decades, Politics of Political parties & their linked Trade Unions seconded by the control Boards stood as prime obstacles of several Power Projects while none took interest to suggest alternatives in Indian Land . This is very much and some thing to be thought fit . Really only Tamilnadu Power Project could resist all and though President of India interfered and clarified Technically , they did not mind and finally upon the Supreme Court interference could only set on the commissioning and run . There is to be either empowered Governance or , a wealthy Government to invest for alternatives since Citizen became differently motivated which is only because of the ills planted , carried and continued since 25 continuous years in the public administration while the Crime rate and Black Money increased at might . more

India will not have deficit situation in FY 2017. In today's news item India is going to have six nuclear reactors with USA collaboration. From the article in 'Eenadu' Telugu daily 4th Feb. 2016 on "ANU NASTAM....JALA KASTAM" by Dr. Buddikota Subbarao, Nuclear Scientist, an extract translated into English is given below:-- American Policy America is gradually shifting Electric power generation from Atomic power to solar and wind energy for which it is giving lot of importance. On the other hand it is trying for India and other countries to promote Atomic power. The origin for this duel policy is the speech by Obama on 14th May, 2014, 'For strengthening American economy and health and to do good for Environment, we should be leading in the world like never before by producing renewable energy fuels. Wind energy generated in America has trebled. Solar energy generation has ten fold increase. Today every four minutes American house is changing for solar. By providing solar over rooftops many Americans are getting employment. These jobs should not be allowed for people of other countries. By adopting new methods we have reduced the wastage of Electricity considerably'. Germany is firm on not going for Nuclear as per reports. These are conflicting versions. In the larger interest it is desirable that this is debated or public are enlightened on this matter. more
