Inconsistencies
Instances of Inconsistencies have been observed in the New Rs 500 Currency notes dispensed from ATMs or received over the counter from Banks (over the last week-end). Some of these are:
1) Image of Gandhi Ji has a shadow effect in some notes while in others it is not so.
2) Mismatch in the length of the Notes , almost 1 mm difference observed (though very small but, guess significant from currency note point of view)
Has anyone else also come across such cases ? more
