I fully agree with Mr Vishal Khanna. All the high end IT companies charge a fortune and our Govt. continues to promote such companies at the cost of the Tax Payers. This could have been done with 5 to 10 percent of the cost with much shorter time and tested for performance completion before implementation if it were to be given to smaller startups. What prevents the FM to think FIVE TIMES before awarding after burning the fingers in GST case ??!! Only TaxPayers SUFFER. more
This is partially correct as the entire process will take a long time. But the specifications are given by the govt. officials who are also responsible. For example, the reminder feature for grievance has been removed. I don't think it is without the knowledge of the authority. There are lot many issues like instant update from NSDL server which still doesn't happen.....it is probably outside the domain of Infosys? Do we really like the idea of faceless?? It can only help the citizens in the long run....but there must be something holding back....??? On Tue, 24 Aug 2021 14:27:33 +0530 Anantharaman Subramanian wrote > more
It is new project with complex software. Glitches do happen. Even with Microsoft it is the case, otherwise there won’t be so many patches and updates. However thus IT product has not been put to rigorous test. It us released perhaps for meet a quoted deadline. It is like shoot first then question like in the Western movies. The Tax payers suffer as always. Hope Infosys will rectify their errors soon and put it to rigorous practical test before release. However remember what Bill Gates said once “ if we have to address every little problem or issues we can never release a software “ Sometimes lab testing is different than field testing. more
Although the task was entrusted to a reputed firm, yet they have not prepared it effectively, as expected. They lack professionalism and the software was not user friendly and not tested properly. Poorly managed. more
