The advertising codes of India is not working effectively. Government has to look into the matter. more
It's not the case with Snapdeal only. None of the Ad platforms-Print, TV, Online etc follows the codes and the reason is incompetent authority who is silent spectator. TV channels are full of False Ads. Everyone says 99.9% or Recommended by Doctor or so. Why are they not made to display that Recommendation or Test Report also verifiable by consumers/viewers? Almost all such regulatory authorities of India are dummies. more
If snapdeal greases the palms, it will still get away. And what were the agencies who give signal to go ahead into such affairs doing ? Staring at the models ? more
Government must ban such types of Advt. and also frame a Policy so no one can put such Advt. in near future and their should be heavy penalties with 5 years term Jail... more
Firstly got.must take strict action against such agency responsible for such ads. Then these should be banned immediately.Withour strict action these people will be out of control in near future. more
