In 3 years all power billing to be prepaid
There are some nay sayers in both my societies who come in the way of pre paid electricity meters. All such nay sayers must take not of the attached. The power minister of India is saying all metering and billing will be prepaid within 3 years.
Such people should either comply or take a hike. Right now they just cause inconvenience for all and all UPPVNL UPPCL should take note of this. more

people should object to demand charges. It should be paid if there was no use in the last month. Or consumers should declare their demand (although deposited more at the time of taking connection). If at all this is to be charged there should be minimum free units to consume. Logically this the charge from a domestic consumer for which power is not utilised by consumer. If customers have to pay it prepaid where is the question of demand charges. people should be ready to pay tariff and taxes and no other duties. There should also be a system of disconnection in the meter itself which requires replacement of meters more
