Not always a good idea Pammi as see what has already taken place. Financial fraud has become rampant and the excuses are un thinkable. The creativity in making excuses in India is so par excellent that a book can be written and might just be the biggest best seller in the world. more  
Every merchant site like credit cards, car makers etc:should mandatorily have sufficient space to register complaints in the words of the customer. Such complaints and its disposal should be openly displayed at the merchant site. This forms guidance for other buyers. A maximum of sixty words should be given in this window. Instead of word or voice prompting the customer to sections, the receiving desk should have power of redressal actions. The pains for repair/ replacement rest with manufacturer and not customer. So he should seamlessly get the window for registration of demand. more  
Day by day, there is a horrendous increase in the number of users and the number of occasions of use of cell phones. Cell phones are feared to emit harmful microwaves, the degree depending on the brand and technology used in their manufacture. I replaced my old one recently by a new entrant in brand league table, and found that it singed my ear when I used it for a ten minute conversation; the pinna was warm and painful for several hours. A complaint to the seller and online retailer resulted in a young man coming and checking the temperature of the piece after ten minutes of use playing music. I told him it is not the temperature, which was was 31 degrees celsius before and 33 degrees after, but the radiation and he did not have any answer. Who do we complain to ascertain if cell phones sold in India emit low levels of radiation? Are there any standards? Do the brands comply with these standards? Who checks them? Routinely, most people put the cell phone to the ear while talking, and perhaps dismiss the 'hot sensation' on the ear as innocuous. Will someone advise who to report to? Thank you. more
