illegal extensions/encroachment

We have a flat in Vasant Kunj Sector A , Pocket Band C (second Floor) The staircase right from ground to the third floor is crumbling A year back we got the staircase rleading to 3 rd floor repaired as it looked to be falling on our head and today the staircase leading to 2 nd floor our flat) is crumbling with plaster and cement falling all over I am feeling helpless because the others in the building look the other way and refuse to get anything repaired . When it comes to making illegal extensions people on the 3rd floor , have occupied the entire terrace , making a small entrance for the water tanks . I don't know whom to approach . Whom to complain against DDA ------DDA itself or to Mr Puri our honourable Urban affairs minister who is in charge of DDA ? Members of Local circles pl advise, help , more

Approach DDA and file a FIR as well more  
It is very dangerous to live in this type of situation you should report to the DDA more  
One feels disgusted even writing a comment. Top to bottom or bottom to top there is all round corruption. You must have read a recent news where a corporation employee was acquitted of a bribery charge of Rs.250 after 28 yrs. Easier said than done. more  
The correct thing would be to meet DDA Officials and also meet the concerned Minister, if that is possible, with all details of the problem including photos of the encroachments. more  
Not simple to initate action against illegal constructions since it is Delhi and DDA is a corrupt dept. Write al letter to DDA chairman along with pics if available and send CC to LG and Minister of urban development . more
