I was working in a Ltd firm & resigned after 18 months service in 2003.I could not serve the notice period of 3 months as I was not well. Now the Company is telling me to pay the Rs.21,000/- for not serving the notice period ,due amount after adjusting with my PL etc;The Company is having its own Trust.
Can I still get my PF & EPF amount as I am told that PF/EPF amount has to be paid to the individual at any circumstances & cannot be kept under hold. But the Company is not clearing for want of Rs.21,000/-
Can anybody guide me on this or the procedure to go ahead or should I approach the PF Office. more

Make sure your communications are reaching them. Give another chance and tell them that you propose to complain to PF Central Office and do so. Can be done online for immediate action. more
In your appointment letter, notice period of 3 months mentioned, you have to serve the notice period or pay the salayr in lieu thereof. First of all why you need in advice, when the matter is very clear. First pay their dues and settle the matter. Things will be simple and clear. Even you approach legally, it amounts to breach of of contract. No lawyer will plead your free of chage. Better settle the matter amicably. more
