I entirely with what Shri Bhati has written. My curiosity is that when the Exp-way is under electronic and CCTV surveillance and e-challans are supposed to be issued to over speeding and wrong lane driving defaulters, how such heavy vehicles including State Transport buses driving at 90-100 Kpmh in the overtaking are not detected and how challans are not being issued to these defaulters. Either there is official direction not to issue e-challans to commercial vehicles and State Transport and other buses or they are greasing the palm of the authorities for not issuing the e-challans.As responsible drivers we may like to take photographs of such violating vehicles in wrong lanes driving at very high speed and upload the picture on this website and also on the Local Circle site of District Magistrate, GB Nagar.
2. The second problem is parking of broken down vehicles and other vehicle on the middle of the road or any where on the left most lane. This should not be allowed. Broken Down vehicles should either be pushed or towed to extreme flank of the road beyond left most lane and "Hazard Sign" must be put up at least 100-150 meters before the stalled car. Now a days every vehicle is supplied with Hazard Signage by the manufacturers but the bus and truck drivers affix the same on their vehicles as warning red light. This is gross violation of Traffic Rules and they may be challaned for not putting up "Hazard Sign" at least 100-150 meters before the stalled vehicle.
3. All vehicle, whether stalled, broken down or stopped for any reasons, must be parked only at the designated Parking Area. NOida-Grater Noida Exp-way has such designated Parking Area and vehicles must be parked, pushed or towed to this area. Any violator must be challaned. In Europe or in America one cannot stop his vehicle any where except at the designated Parking Area.
4. Of late nearly 50 or so "Challi" stalls have come up all along the Expressway. Cars, two wheelers etc suddenly slow down and stop near such stalls creating very serious traffic hazard. In fact no such stalls selling anything, whether Challi, Guava or Cold Drink etc in summer months should be allowed on the road side of the entire Expressway. In case it is felt that there is need to allow such stalls etc, they may be allowed only in area behind the service road and that two with fairly long approach and exit road so that vehicles existing or entering Expressway do not slow down on the Expressway but the reduce or speed up their vehicle only on the exit or entry road. This is done all over the world who allow public conveniences, food stalls etc well away ( upto 1/2 km) from the expressway. Drivers driving at 100kmph on Expressway need the certainty of no obstacle on the road.it is responsibility of the authorities to ensure this. Otherwise cases for damages should be filed in law courts for deficient services. After all every one pays road tax for safe driving. more

Around the roads and crossings hoarding should be showing only punishments for defaulters of traffic rules in place of any other ads since these displays only distract the drivers more
Apart from strict enforcement measures there is need to educating all drivers. We must have Traffic Rule and guideline book and pamphlets The RTO must insist on each driver at the time issue of new licence and renewal as well as registration of new vehicles or renewal of registration to purchase the Traffic Rule Book or build the cost of issue of licence. Traffic pamphlets may be distributed at the start of Exp-way on Noida and Greater Nooda end as well as in all important markets, schools and colleges. local radio may be reissued to give public service message on traffic rules. more
Mr Rajiva I was driving today from Sector 34 to GIP. There are 3 Red Light Xngs. I was a mute spectator to cars/rickshaws and trucks disobeying Red Light Signal. I reiterate that the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act are not known to people driving 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers. Being an Ex Military Police Officer I wonder how we can call ourselves responsible citizens. more
Suggestions are pouring in tons to disciple traffic on road but no suggestion to control through social net works, through heart, through parents, through social controls more
