I do agree but first of all TRS Government should train the RTC bus drivers discipline and road sense. 3 buses stand side by side and completely block road and they try to overtake each other in the busy roads causing inconvenience and threat to two-wheelers and cars.
I also suggest that TRS government should establish a Senior Citizen Forum to advise them for Good Governance and Best Practices as these retired experienced public-private partners would certainly contribute actively to the clean and good Governance. more

Not only TSRTC Bus drivers whole Hyderabad people who are riding vehicles irrespective of wheels (2, 3, 4 and other commercial vehicles) they doesn't have road sense. if they find small place on road they will enter and they will disturb the total traffic. First of all Lane marking should be implemented and auto signalling should be introduced then only problem will be solved. The next important issue is, they should not stop the traffic for VIPs convenience. Recently in Somajiguda area one incident happened President came to Hyderabad and he went some where and coming towards begumpet side at about 5.50 pm that is in the evening time the Police have stopped total traffic from 5.50pm to 6.35 pm (45 minutes) and even they didn't allow the people to stand on the pavement or Bus stops. How much fuel waste and time waste to the common public. This practice of over action should be stopped any way they will have their safety protections and jammer vehicles. They should not cause inconvenience to the common public. The government should remove/stop VIP culture then they will know understand the problem of the public. more

TSRTC drivers should also be trained to stop buses properly whenever persons are getting down. Once myself aged 69 years fallen from bus near Rail Nilayam since driver speeded the bus before I got down. more

First of all even the RTC buses should be fined for traffic violations and it should be recovered from the bus driver salary. Once that's implemented everything will set right and you needn't give any training. more

It is not the training which is lacking in the RTC drivers. It is the discipline which is lacking. These RTC bus drivers are well trained and knowledgeable to drive on the hyderabad roads. Most of the drivers at having 15 to 20 years of driving experience and what training can we provide to them. However the fault lies in the infrastructure support, Discipline, Traffic Rules, widening of roads, strict control on the Timing, etc. There are many parameters which need to be taken into consideration for maintaining this discipline. First the government need to provide good roads and strict implementation of traffic rules. Penalise the drivers who park the busses on the side. The traffic on the flyovers is very bad because there is no discipline on driving. Traffic department must post some Ads on the flyovers that all cars move on the right and bikes on the left will make all flyovers traffic free. Just imagine all the flyovers when all the four and three wheelers move on the right and bike move on the left. You will find a single vehicle standing on the flyover. When there is a for one 4 wheeler to move on the flyover another 4 wheeler comes on the left and both of them go parallel by not allowing the small bikes to move quickly. This causes a big traffic jam. Traffic police is working hard in the hard day light, but the people must cooperate with them and maintain the traffic discipline. Hope one day will come when we all follow the traffic rules. Driving on the road is a privilege not a birth right. This privilege can be revoked anytime. more
