Haryana Reservation Law

Is not good for businesses as many businesses will simply move part of their operations to Noida or Ghaziabad or Delhi. As a result 75% less jobs will remain in Haryana.

The State Govt must think about excluding Gurugram and Faridabad from this stating Gurugram and Faridabad is part of Delhi NCR which has a unique scenario and employment demographic as many from Delhi and NCR work here. more

The localising of 75 percent reservation for employment in private sphere of Haryana is not only a blind act but an act with many repercussions as mentioned below: 1) It will induce other states to follow suit. 2) It will annoy immigrants from other states living in Haryana only to earn with their families at native places. 3) Increase in strength of Haryana natives in employment will result in switch over to their leadership in Trade Unions. 4) Already aggressive trade unions and associations like CITU and AITUC would become more hostile with youth leaders from rural areas and would in turn result in closure of many industries as in the past. 5) It is also likely to increase in crime as hostile youth is getting more and more inclined to attitude of confrontation. more
Rather than a short term fix of finding a rule to cover the interest of business owners and employees only in NCR , we must ask for a reservation free nation. We are country where we need equal education rights , make education a fundamental right and the office bearers of the nation must ensure quality education is imparted to all . Help for higher education for the economical weaker candidates should be born by our taxes and not diverted towards building of unnecessary structures ( statues , religious institutions or political buildings ) . We want a level playground for us and our younger generations to follow more
What you say is true, Vinay. But I would go one step further and say there be no reservation of any kind. India is a country without borders. People are free to work where they can. If the person fits the job, well then... more
