HP Printer

I had bought HP 410 WireLess printer in Oct ,2018. After few months we had a problem where printer was showing out of paper while papers were in it. This reoccurred so we called tech support. They guided over phone and problem solved for few months. Again it reoccur and I insisted service engineer to come. He came and “resolve” problem. After few months same problem occurred but now I am told machine is out of warrant (one month). Should customer expect that problem they claim is resolved at least that problem itself should have one year warranty to be considered resolved? We often deal with some low life plumber and electrician come and solve problems with Jugad which will reoccur. Now we have to expect same kind of service with 14000 machine which doesn’t work one year without problem and problem within warranty they claim is “resolved” reoccur many times? All these “brand” company usually use their resources to strictly follow warranty terms only but they will not have properly trained service engineers who can resolve issues permanently. New low in expectations for Indian consumer? more

HP410 is poor quality printer with not only poor paper handling but poor color reproduction and smudgy printing in Normal mode printing also. You cannot even print normal envelopes in this printer. We also bought in Nov'2018 and regret having bought this C grade product and wasting our hard earned money. more  
you can claim under warranty even if warranty expired in case the problem started in warranty period and remained unresolved more  
I too had experienced the glitch in HP printer and it was software glitch which they were not able to set right and asked for part change charge over 60% of the new printer price. I had to just throw it off and buy another brand! Its quite painful to run after these guys to get service esp. when they play GOD and claim that it is not their failure and focus is on closing the ticket rather than resolving the real problem. more  
Basic Problem is NOT Respolved but Doctored as resolved - It may be of Software &/Or Hardware. Advisable to lodge Consumer Complaint with Respective Forum. Prior to that, pl. ensure that you are having all documents and record i.e. Quotation, Purchase Order, Payment made, Complaints you lodged, Responce received and rectifications of the same, reoccurances - Ultimate denial. Reg. Warranty pl. ensure once again whether it was for Month &/Or year. For Similar Products if same Mfgr. is offering yearly warranty, pl. preserve that Quote as well which will be helpful to you to establish descriminating & faulty Trade Practices. In this respect the basic quotation offered well before placing Order pl. be ensured once again. more  
I do not agree. HP care centre repaired software of my printer without any charge. more
