How to withdraw PF from a closed company account?

Hello, I was an employee of Satyam Computer Services Limited and have my PF account number and statements. When I left the company I tried to transfer it to my new employer, but that was not possible. So I filled and sent a withdrawl form to the employer. I was told that it was forwarded to the PF office. (This was way back in 2007). After several years, I still do not have the amount. Now I can't trace what happened because Satyam computers was taken over by Tech Mahindra and it is now Mahindra Satyam. Now I'm told that they can't trace my account. My money is stuck there and the account would have probably become dormant or inactive. Please suggest how I can withdraw my money? more

When a takeover takes place all liabilities should be taken over. Tech Mahindra acquired Satyam Computers along with the employees of erstwhile Satyam, they should have the PF Account Nos of Satyam employers. Since Tech Mahindra is having a separate PF code they must have allotted new account nos to its employees from the date of its takeover. Definitely Tech Mahindra should have the details. Secondly, your payslip should also have the details of your PF accoun t No. You may please trace it out. Thirdly, if you are unable to trace it, my sincere advise to you is you may personally meet RPFC and explain the matter to hi,m, he will definitely help you in getting your PF amount irrespective of the account being dormant or alive. all the best Ms Meenakshi more
Ms. Meenakshi, I think you have to go personally to PF office and convince the PF officer to work in your case. Hope the company does not have the PF trust. If it the trust in the name of the company then you have to contact the company PF officer. Its almost 10 years you left the company now. So action and patience can only work. Ask some PF circle officer to do some favour and reward him suitably if needed. more
