Yogendra Garg of cbec and other officials please take action so such confusions are addressed and negativity minimised. They dont talk about input tax credit. more
Dear Shri Ramesh Ahuja, The consumers are not connected with the term input tax credit. The term is relevant to only the retailers, manufacturers etc as they have to get the credit of the GST paid at the time of their purchase. The consumer i.e last mile stone has to pay full tax as what it has been stated in the notice board. But in any case the MRP is inclusive of all taxes. more
The Govt should create awareness by wide publicity on the benefits to citizen and the chemists. Like wise in every segment it should be carried out.State may not take much interest. CG should initiate spreading thro' concerned Depts besides strip msgs in theatres, TV's, all news papers in the respective vernacular till march 2018. more
Visit the shop and ask the authorities with name, signature date on the notice, otherwise tear this type of notices wherever you find them. Chemists are cheats. Medicine manufacturers have not increased the basic medicine prices, in fact it will decrease after reducing 'input tax credit'. Thereafter comes trade discounts which has not been reduced. Medicine retailers still gets 25-30% high discounts and were allowing 10-15% for competitive sales. So where comes GST? The medicine sellers who used to / still prefer to sell by cash are now getting caught for turnover because of GST, is crying wolf. Consumers should exercise their rights at every occasions. more
