hi experts. i am new in this group..i have a query

Hi.i had purchased a Hp ink advantage printer..it had a free ink cartridge with it on filling up a form online..i did..but i have yet to receive it.i called continuously and mailed them all the receipts but in vain.its not a matter of an ink catridge but can big companies or small retailers cheat common people like that.Need advise and help on this matter.thanks. more

If the grievances is not yet sorted out, then please issue a Regd. Post notice to the supplier giving 15 days time. If no response is received, then you can file a complaint in the local consumer court. more  
Shweta kindly note the following action points: 1. do you have a complaint number 2. if you have not already sent a written complaint do that immediately but to it one line on their official website 3. accountability does not come by just stating - lets understand the process - most of the providers have outsourced to dealers who are crude and not able to even understand the implication of what a customer can do 4. after you have written the complaint, ask very clearly to given you a complaint number - most likely you would get a call - ask if it from HP office or outsourced call - listen adn again take done the complaint number - and name - demand for both of them - ask for full name and not the approx. time 5. further to you earlier letter sent another letter of recent interaction with all details including complaint number and the name of the person and what the person has assured 6. if you do not hear from the company post this on social media especially the website of HP which has fb no one can cheat a customer -we customer are naive and get hassled. Lets start demanding what we want and not what is right - what is right has to be according to the "customer perspective" and not company perspective more  
Complaint to Consumer Forum is advisable. Rest Certainly NOT. Crime never pay. more
