Headaches

What do people generally take when they have a headache? Is there something better than saridon/combiflam/medicines that people use. An Ayurvedic/food/herbal recommendation would be great help more

Thanks Dr. Mittal, Richi and everyone else. more
Stress and lack of sleep are known triggers of headache. the headache per se may be a part of a condition like migraine, tension headaches, or even simply an undetected case of hypertension (raised bp). the idea is if your headahe is troubling you, which i suppose it is since this question first arose, its better to have it evaluated. from a doctors point of view, anything that's not normal should be evaluated. but as i said, have it checked at least when its bothering you. as i always tell my juniors and patients- fever and pain, though troublesome, are your friends. they are simple symptoms that tell u within time that u need help. whether u listen to your friends or not is up to u :) more
Thanks, Richi! Will try the sensor oil next time. more
no headaches can be due to stress and lack of sleep but if it is recurrent then u must see a Dr to rule out any serious condition. You can get sensor oil at any medical store. more
@Richi: What is sensor oil? Where do I get it? @Dr Mittal: Isn't it normal to have a headache because of stress and lack of sleep once in a while? Do we need to see a doctor every time we have a headache? more
