Only MRI can show the extent of damage in the cartilage and not x ray. If cartilage is very heavily damaged, then it can not be repaired by ACI process and will need knee replacement. more

Yes, I know what I am suggesting. It is new Korean technology where damaged Knee cartilage is repaired using your own cartilage stem cells. It has now been used for last 4 years in India with proven results. This avoids any need for knee replacement. It will get official approval of DCGI also in a month or so after they have cleared clinical trials. However if damage to cartilage is extensive,it can not be used. So it is best to use it early when damage is less and it makes your knee totally new. more
