Haz subsidy removal - Progressive move
Subsidies for minorities in the form of Haz travel concession was always viewed as a waste of precious funds .Other monorities also were desiring for it and were openly expressing it as to why they were being descriminated.
Our feeling is that there are more urgent issues needing budgetary allotment than religious appeasement to minorities.Girl education of economically poor families,security ,jobs for girls from poorer families etc.
It is a very wise decision by GOI now . more

It is meaningless that money collected by the Hindu endowment societies is channelled as subsidy for Muslims !! to performm HAJ !!! Why should government pay for the spiritual visits of a person & when they return with Wahabi ideology & become terrorists. Infact this Haj journey is funding the income of Saudi Arabia. Have your ever seen Hindus coming from abroad to India to visit Vaisnav Devi or Tirupati Balaji or Somnath Temple or Dakshineshwar temple ? But for Haj the entire economy of Saudi Arabia is dependent on tourists visiting for Haj !!! Those who lived & worked there will give your correct & genuine information. more
