H1B impact on Telangana
The legislation that doubles salary of H1B worker to 130000 USD is coming shortly. Many of the folks from Hyderabad and Telnagana and AP will get impacted. Obviously the economy may also feel impacted. Less nri money, more seekers for same jobs. Are the 2 chief ministers looking at doing something on this front? Anyone in the know?

So far the IT firms were running the show with cheap labour and taking advantage of the rules of other countries. IT employees were infact paid less. New legislation will help the employeess. It is a good move. Let the IT firms pay more to get their work done and not just make profits. more
