It is not fractional problem. Every second day the site become non-functional. Even GST Council has agreed to it. But Govt. is bent on taking credit for reforms, even if it is at cost of public suffering. more
Only a few lucky people have been able to file August GSTR-3B successfully. I have been trying the whole day till late in the night on 20.09.17 but the GSTN had been a failure and early morning on 21.09.17, one could file it only with late fee of Rs.200. Now we can imagine if minimum 5 lakh taxpayers had to bear this late fee due to GSTN glitches, govt earned Rs. 10 crore just in a matter of one night. The govt has been a beneficiary due to the technical shortcomings of the GSTN. more
This time website was smooth and little problem with DSC but far better than last month !! govt should make simple return filing without the complex of each time with DSC filing, becos the returns are tagged with registered DSC already at the time of registration, so each month/each type of return linking DSC is not correct idea and unnecessary !! but now govt has realised becos of demonitisation and GST has made country growth lower so govt should think on ground realities rather than making everything mandatory, a simple vat type return is sufficient becos each time the dealer has to setoff the credits and his amount stucks if you have more credit in sgst or cgst which cannot be setoff with lesser liability, thus his working capital is stuck up in the middle and exports should be made without tax/exempt straightaway without much hurdles !! more
a lot of work has to done ,gst concept was good implementation was bad , accounting work load has more than doubled , while it has been made a breeze for already lazy govt more
