Gst on mess/canteen services
gst on canteen service in education institution now reduced to 5% , now admission are over and mess charges are already paid ( inclusive of taxes at 18%) can we expect any action from authorities to get our refunds?if they dont refund for future months, will this qualify as profiteering? more

Dear Arjun Singh Please note that the reduced rates are not applicable with retrospective date. So I request you to verify the MESS BILL (receipt) issued by the school /college authroty. If the MESS charges is paid for the full year and if the authority has issued a GST bill,then reduction in GST is not refundable. If the authrotiy has issued only an advance reciept without GST component,then it is refundable more

If you are not connected to the inner circles of the BJP, you must be very lucky. I haven't even got the customary acknowledgment by SMS and e mail. After several attempts to batter through the stodgy mud walls of Government Internet , I had filed mine on 11th July 2018. more

Gst was reversed but some other unspecified charges added on (TAPMI). Profiteering indirectly. more
