can some body advice me that if i want to held the exhibition and invite small traders & house wives to display there products in space allocated to them. What will be the implication of GST, given the condition that my turnover is less then 20 lakhs a year and majority of the traders/house wives turnover is less then 20 lakhs. more
Prima Facie no GST implication on you unless you are liable to pay under reverse charge on any services received by you. On others would depend on case to case but prima facie no implication unless they have interstate deals or expenses liable to reverse charge more
This is with reference to the query of Devendra Singh in respect of rent. In case the property is let out for commercial purpose, it is liable to GST. However, if your tenant is registered under GST he is liable to pay GST under reverse charge basis. That is he is required to pay you the entire rent and deduct income Tax on such rent. He is liable to pay GST on an amount of INR 29500/-. He will be eligible to take credit of the entire GST paid for discharging his GST liability. He is trying to cheat you. In case your tenant is not registered under GST, then no GST is payable by him or by you as your total annual rent is less than 20 lakh. more
Receive your mail, you are doing good job for the awareness of the people for GST. Are you charging for these information.? Please give all details. Regards more
