I was reading some post content here in the local circles. What are these centers of the govt and where are they located. How are these supposed to help people who get cheated by service providers. Do they have the weight to hold them accountable?

I have never heard what Consumer Dept of Govt does. You hear about Railways, Finance Ministry, Swachh Bharat Make in India but never about Govt doing anything for Consumer. High time!! more

I dont see any grahak kendra in noida. No future for physical centers of this sort more

Consumers are not aware of their rights. They don't avail their rights. If we start using our rights on regularly we will have robust consumer system. more

Under PM, i would expect Consumer Affairs will get up and start interacting with people. Can local circles write to them more

I think, localcircles are becoming more effective as time progresses. More officials are realizing they should work with junta..which is positive. The ones who wont will eventually get replaced under leadership of narendra bhai.. more
