Govt needs to act on international air fare loot

Try booking international tickets and its insane. Mumbai-London with travel portals is now between 1.2 to 3.5 lakhs. ridiculous. more

DEAR VINITA,I fully endorse your view of certain REGULATION needed from the GOI on the International FARES which are mostly sought after, in special season like SUMMER or during spring.With regards.BN DAS more  
In case of air travel these days, domestic or international, you get cheap tickets if you book much in advance. Tickets become costlier as the travel date comes closer. Grounding of Jet Airways has made the situation worse. The government has no role in this. more  
Why should the government interfere in international travel? that too of private citizens?

When you wish to travel abroad, it is by choice. Whether you are traveling to visit family or just on a holiday, it is YOUR choice. If the costs are high, you always have the option to not go out.

Government has the priority to provide for those who are struggling for food, clothing and shelter and not for foreign jaunts. more  
what is the role and responsibility of Minister of civil aviation ? Is it wrong to expect some regulation in pricing from government ? more  
YES. I AGREE WITH YOU. BUT FODY WON"T LISTEN. I TOLD THEM NOT TO BUY BOEING. AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED !!!
