Government Senior Citizen Homes per every 1000 Male & Female Senior Citizens at every District HQ

Government Senior Citizen Homes per every 1000 Male & Female Senior Citizens at every District HQ Level
================================

Of late, senior citizens desire to lead the fraction of their life very independently away from the age-old conventions.

Senior citizens are expected to stay in the midst of married-independent citizens' world of sons/daughters in general and their sons /daughters in particular with suitable understandings in money matters and food-comforts as a convention. But, indications are negative that this convention has faded almost.

The number of infighting and complaints from within families is on the rise against matured senior citizens while the conventional-blood-relationship values with respectful understandings are on an evaporative-edge. This is not only due to money/income /expenditure dependency-issues but also personal-adjustment-modes in the realm of senior-aging-personal-tastes.

Many senior citizens are silent sufferers, both in the categories of males and females, because of false notions of family-prestige even though they have been shouted down or controlled by strong-handed members of the so-called families.

There have come up already in India's private sector privately running senior citizen homes with ultra-modern amenities like swimming pools, games-rooms, jogging grounds, theatre-halls, calendar-wall-TV for group watching, personal TV with computer in bed-room, medical facilities, 24-hrs security ring, and visitor-registers, shikar-buses, common Temple / Church / Masjid, etc., etc., You name it , you will get it!

Therefore, the Central Government may @ New Delhi has to take over this as a subject instead of leaving it on the States simply. more

In India, whenever the word "Government' is stuck in front of anything, be it hospital, school, industry or transport, it becomes synonymous with low quality, corruption, theft and inefficiency. Better to leave it to genuine NGOs with a grant for every person whom they look after. Not to say that NGOs are all pure but put in a mechanism to supervise their operation. Remember the promise; 'Less government and better governance'. more
