Good news on AQI

The thick layer of smog will remain absent for another 24 hours due to the support of strong NW winds however approaching WD on 4th Nov will slow down the winds and direction will also become southerlies. We can expect worsening of AQI and fresh layer of smog on 4th and 5th November in Delhi NCR.

Strong flow of NW winds will be back from 6th and 7th November. It might bring down AQI levels along with a dip in night temperatures by 3-4°c from current levels across plains of north India. more

Are you speaking for the Govt.  AQI has been as bad as it can be. Even if it come down because of Westerly Easterly windis it because of Govt effort.  Be sensible while writing or taking up public issues R P Sharma Think Big System Pvt Ltd.B 102, G T Karnal Road Industrial Area , Behind MTNL Tel Exchange, Delhi 110033ph 9818362785 , 011-27458190 On Sunday 2 November, 2025 at 11:32:57 pm IST, Seema Mehra wrote: more
Ms Mehra,
1. If someone reads your message, it means he has access to emails and reads that. It is wrong to presume that he has no time to read newspaper which is more easily accessible.
2. What is your source of information? Is it something other than IMD which you say is wrong. As far as we know, IMD is the only agency set up for this purpose. I would like to check at your source. more
Many dont have time to read paper like you plus IMD is wrong more than right Sir. more
Some people have a habit of writing something even though it may be irrelevant. Members of LC are better informed and have access to media. So why repeat a news here? more
Thanks for the information more
Sorry not clear on your message , what is the good news ? AQI has not improved and worsening further, please can you clarify. Thanks more
I will be out of the country from Monday November 3rd onwards and will be back in office on Monday November 10th. I will be checking emails intermittently and hence my response could be delayed. For anything urgent please connect with me over what’s app. more
