Show some guts and mandate colour code on can in an one inch by one inch size green orange and red based on sugar content. Coke and Pepsi and other aerated drinks to have ๐ŸŸฅ. Or do something like in attached.

Dont sit act so these products dont drive us to a โ€œSugar Addicted New Indiaโ€ because if u dont mandate and regulate these brands will. more

The better way is to avoid such drinks. If fruit juices and/or soft drinks are essentially needed, get it prepared at home, which would be incomparable in test and quality. more
FSSAI is going to introduce this. It is called FRONT OF PACK LABEL. There will be various color codes for FAT, SALT, SUGAR. more
Sugar or Sugar contained Sweets are important part in our (Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs, Christians etc.) culture/life and are offered on various happy occasions/celebrations. They are being produced or consumed for generations in various forms. But, with the advent of Modern Science such items are being branded as unhealthy. No doubt sugar has ill effect on oneโ€™s health if consumed in excess and is not burnt in body with physical exercise. In the past people used to consume such items without hesitation as they had lot of physical exercise to do. I therefore feel hue & cry on the issue is meaningless. more
correct, This has been the demand for many years but our health ministry dont take any action more
Absolutely correct. Sugar, salt, fats- all are unhealthy but sugar is a insidious killer and must be controlled by creating awareness. The colour coding is a great idea more
