We've been following the China study diet, mostly fruit, raw vegetables n nuts n surely it reduces blood glucose levels apart from building immunity to minor infections, aches n pains etc. We avoid milk,refined n processed products. The results over the last 18 months have been amazing allowing me to stay off diabetes, Metformin, medication and maintaining stable BS levels, reducing HBA1C from 6.5 to 6.1 in 3 months. Once you surf yourself and your better half can decide whether to follow LCHF or not. When I talked to my doctor, she has not raised any red flag. Hope this is sufficient and best of luck with LCHF. more

I am a diabetic patients since 1995 and on drugs, exercise. For the last 6 months I am on LCHF (low carbon high fat). My HbA1c came down to 6.1 in 6 months and my target is sub 5. Even though I take rice the quantity was reduced drastically I. E.less than 60% of my earlier quantity. I will take lot of cooked vegetables-two varieties daily and Keera. Take soaked almonds, Walnuts and peanuts. Happy since all parameters are showing downtrend. more
