I had availed gold loan @ manappuram finance. After 4 months had been to bank to redeem my jewels. They hv auctioned my gold. Registered post ad not recd by me. Rbi guidlines says only after 1 yr auction can be done. Mine scheme GL-VM. Validity 270 days. But for 90 days auctioned. more

It is a serious issue as banks & NBFCs does not care for customers so we need to support such complaints of members & sign petition in order to come together and fight jointly.Fraud by NBFCs to be brought to the justice.So, I am with Sumathi. more

First & foremost Not only Police - they may not take/register your complaint (As usual - the opponents are strong in their own ways), if they register your complaint - Pl. ask for the copy of FIR. Section of IPC is not limited to 420 i.e. cheating but also S. 34, 406 i.e planned / Conspiracy, Sabotage, criminal Breach of trust etc. Over and above, file Consumer Complaint as well as Civil Case. No doubt you have to sustain some financial & other burden like time and efforts - in long run - it worth. Apart from all above - give wide publicity so that OTHERS who also got cheated in similar manner will support &/or raise the voice. New victims will get alerted is additional benefits. more

the fault is with us when we don't read the terms and conditions properly ad sign on the dots hurriedly which happens during the urgency. still one has to be careful more

Please go to the Police - this is theft and should be treated as such. Please file a Police Case against the Company / the Branch Head / the Interacting Manager .... Create fuss there and call #100 - Police Emergency Number from the Branch itself and wait there for the Police to arrive. I'm sure the jewellery is still in their possession and they're attempting to get you to relinquish it. more
