There is huge market of organic food in overseas market and also there is huge stock availbale in the overseas market. to keep price under control there should a mechanism to promote new entrepreneur in the area to import and export from the rural side or the MBA's. It will benefit directly in controlling the price and in directly flowing the more money in the market and controlling the corruption as they are new and will take time to learn corruption. Todays best business to be a MP..u will have property of 200/300 crore+++. In business u have to invest long years in try and then there is a chance to get.. more
Point 13 : Perishable food products are grown mostly by marginal farmers who lacks marketing facilities : Perishable food products means vegetables, milk, etc. If marginal farmer starts to take up these activities his/her economical condition will improve but that is not happening. MF prefers to grow cereals and pulses as per the home requirement. Lastly there is a need to link operational holdings with Aaadhar of all the family members who are engaged in the operational holdings. Ownership of land holding is different from the operational holding. Exampl ; Case I - A farmer is having 2 sons and land is in the name of both the sons, mother and farmer himself which means four land holdings on the basis of ownership are there. If all are living in joint family then one Operational Holdings is there and accordingly KCC benefit or gas subsidy is to be given. Case -II : If all are living separately then four operational holdings are there and accordingly subsidy should be given. Now we can imagine what our data say on land holdings. Govt should think on this aspect also. more
Point 12 : No subsidy on setting up cold storage : pl visit the website of "National Horticulture Board (NHB) which is having a scheme on cold Storage since 2000 where more than 25 % subsidy is given. more
. Point 7 : Dearth of co-operative societies at the farmer level : In india we are having more than 95000 Primary Agril Credit Societies and all the States are having marketing societies and Dairy Coop. Societies so where is the dearth. There is a need to manage these societies in professional manner and politicians should not be ------- more
Point 5. Lack of awareness among the farmers : For Storage of foodgrains in the houses, the pest management programme at village level may be organised. We all are aware that each farmer in the villages have "Bhukhari (Storage Space)" for foodgrains. more
