First Year as PM

One year back, India rose from ashes with aspirations that lots of things will change.
With all due considerations of situations faced in last one year, I must admit, Mr. Modi did very remarkable work out of India. Projecting the country as major player in world politics.
Bank home, few things did happen fast and good like Jan Dhan Yojana, Clean India. Many decisions were quite good in diplomacy but results were not so promising.
Still I have hope in Mr. Modi to pull around the situation for benefits of the nation, yet BJP as party has not stood firmly behind him for long.
Mr. Modi failed in controlling BJP MPs, MLAs and members making very controversial statements one after another. After having landslide support from peoples of the nation, it was right time to change over to a national party with difference, but it remained primarily linked with Hinduism and talked of others only under pressure.
Joining hands with corrupt leaders whom Mr. Modi denounced during election campaign, is biggest draw back on his part. That took away his honesty tag soon. CBI was after TMC but not after Sonia, Yadavs and Mayawati proved again that ruling party uses CBI for its political agenda. Had he taken very tough decision to go with legal actions against corrupt politicians, he would have got Land Bill passed easily. Savior of Wadra, would not have raised voice against the bill at all.
Joining hands with PDP in J & K is biggest mistake on part of the party. It gave enough time to regroup various separatist leaders under guidance of Mr. Mufti.
The way cases of Salman Khan and Jaya was handled, it proved beyond doubt that government is soft in selective cases. It took 13 long years to give judgment but 20 minute to grant bail that to without getting written copy of the judgment attached to bail application.
Black money issue is another black hole that Mr Modi must attempt to clear out.

Before I end up, I am sure that Mr. Modi may be honest like Mr. Manmohan Singh, but he must assert his weight on members of parliament and assemblies and party leaders and drive them to achieve the goal set for first five year. 20% of resource time is lost so he has 80% resources to complete 100% promises. Asking rate is increasing and he has more less time to get it. more

Along with black money, corruption and inflation should also be curbed. more
The party must work as a team to remain in power for five years. PM alone cannot bring development in the country. Dr S.Sanyal more
I fully agree with the assessment of Mr Pugalia. Mr Modi must demonstrate that he is the leader. more
