Our imports are much higher compared to exports due to oil, gold, etc more
AND, IT REALLY APPEARS THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTE NEED OF EVEN APPROACHING THE APEX COURT FOR FIT REFORM IN THE LIGHT OF THE ABSOLUTE NEED OF LAND ACQUISITION FOR VARIOUS TYPES OF INDUSTRIES AND DIFFERENT KINDS OF BUSINESS CENTERS EXPLAINING THE VERY REASON THAT INDUSTRY SHALL GO FOR ITS INFRASTRUCTURE & INFRASTRUCTURE CANNOT BRING AN INDUSTRY THAT IS UN-ECONOMICAL THERE AT THAT PLACE BESIDES THE HURDLE OF TRANSPORTATION COST & EFFLUENT TREATMENT COST. more
IF THE PROGRRAMMED AND FAST INVITED NEW INDUSTRIES AND BUSINESS CENTERS ARE STILL DELAYED DUE TO THE VICIOUS HURDLE OF LAND ACQUISITION AMENDMENT BILL , THERE WILL BE A REMARKABLE DOWN-FALL OF RUPEE VALUE ONCE AGAIN. THE RULING GOVERNMENT SHALL COME OUT OF THE PLANNED HURDLES UNDER CONCRETING BY THE SOCALLED OPPOSITION FOR ITS ONE AND ONLY ONE GOAL. more
Higher rate of Dollar is big problem for India.Whole of balance of trade becomes a big burden to India.IMF has to revalue rupee again. more
I'm afraid the current exchange rate is very much reflects the value of the Indian rupee. In any case, a high exchange rate is beneficial for India, since it makes our exports cheaper for foreign buyers (especially since our government has embarked on 'Make in India'). Secondly, for infrastructure projects a weak rupee means that for the same amount in foreign exchange, you get more rupees- a huge advantage in projects that run into billions of dollars. Besides, a weak rupee is not a huge problem right now, since international oil prices are currently almost half of what they were a year ago and are likely to remain at these levels at least for another year. more
