Fee Increase in private schools

Can DM of Noida or someone from Chief Ministers office/Education dept of UP Govt, please advise where are we on the matter of excessive fee hike by private schools?

This issue has been long pending. more

It is competitive era, every one wants his/her ward get admission in best private school, the theory of supply & demand force us to pay more in good Private Institution, there are information now half of Private Institution are shrinking because of no quality output against heavy expenses on wards.7th PC no way connected with fee hike. There is need for uniform education system in all Institution for same course & selection of teaching staff by a comeitee of senior experience proffessor of same field for all institution ,Private Institution also compulsorly pool teaching staff from the same & has to pay uniform salary.Like other services on Promotion they may be transferred from one Institution to other. However every year Govt. may award those teachers who delivers outstanding students . more
Even though 6th or 7th PC is on, then also the percentage of hike that school demand is unacceptable, Althaugh we are paying heavy fees, if we calculate the cost of each teacher and operating cost, the yearly hike will not cross 4-5%. They are just making money simply, none other than else. I have came to know teachers are being hired on contraactual basis, they are not even paid full salary, so for what 6th or 7th PC. more
The issue of fee hike stands at its place with no appropriate action by the administration on the ground and the impact of hike has been passed onto current academic session as well. more
This a complex issue. In order to get and retain good teachers schools need to pay them proper;y. Any increase in teachers salary has to be recovered from students. There are two solutions to this problem-either the govt pays teachers as is being done in case of private institutes of higher learning or parents find cheaper schools. Today all establishments have increased salaries markedly following the 7th PC. To expect teachers to forego salary increases is wishful thinking. more
I guess DM has given a weeks more time to schools to submit report which supposedly will be shared forth to the CM. This is 2-3 days previous development. Rest DM himself can convey the best, which we hope. more
