With this post, we seek your inputs on what are the various channels used by brands for customer service and what are the key issues that you as a customer have faced with the existing channels.

The objective here is to understand what channels are ineffective and deficient. Once we have your inputs, we will have a separate discussion on what are the most effective solutions that companies must consider implementing.

Speedy justice system is the need of the hour. NCH has lot of work to do & this is possible only by proactive action in reaching out to helpless, ignorant people. It will be better if NCH mentions here as to what actions plan they intend to form? more  
This frustration/agony most of the customers have to undergo. The call centres of these manufacturers are useless and hardly help in resolving the problem. It is time that Dept. of Consumer Affairs takes up this call. more  
The country has a very weak consumer protection law and even the provisions of this law are not enforced effectively. Various MoCA supported agencies e.g. CORE Center, etc. are extremely slow and un-helpful (I have examples of grievances which are not followed-up since months & years and are still on). Their staff is also partially trained. Consumer courts also take lot of time and taking every complaint to it is not practical. Brands understand it very well and in most of the cases take the consumers for granted, even one has written to their higher management. A consumer is an individual with meagre resources & spare time whereas Brands are institution with large resources. Therefore, there is a huge imbalance in level playing field. Unless, country has stringent consumer law, enforced in letter & spirit (like in developed countries); situation is not going to improve more
