Eureka Forbes RO - a Big NO NO

Eureka Forbes RO is a big NO NO. This company has terribly deteriorated in service in the last 12 months.

The core issue is every time a tech comes to service, they do more damage than fixing leaving RO non functional.

Dont know if these technicians are just plain incapable or have a side business going.

I strongly suggest no one buy their system.

And bureau of indian standards, where are the standards for services for such poor providers. more

These companies must have "working" feedback system to enable us to give our feed back. unfortunately most of the feed back systems are just for formality and do not function. As usual our inspecting agencies are sleepy. more

A decade before I had Phillips brand and their service outlet later reduced to one in Gurgaon city. Later getting it's cartridge availability did become difficult and so I replaced it with Eureka Fobes. The service response was so poor that installation itself took about a month & that too with regular follow up. Later post warranty period, O started receiving service phone calls and visits by different strange technicians including the one who did installation, each offering a service starting with immediate replacement of cartridges as paid service. I have experienced that service part post warranty in India is totally with irresponsible concept and badly commercialised. Consumers are crazy and such people just believe on sale. Post sale they take consumers for granted paid service and that too with poorest quality. Similar experience I have with IFB, DAIKIN and so. One such service agent even thrusted upon his statement that do not expect service at par with overseas though the product is being assembled or manufactired under the licence from foreign company. Possibly poor regulatory body in India needs to wake up and bear responsibility . more
The main reason for poor service is all these companies are interested in selling their products. Once they get their money from us and dump their product on us they are not bothered at all about our problems. They do not care whether their product is working as per their promise or not. Further, they outsource after sales service to other agencies and they do not have any control over them neither they care to see that these agencies have competent technicians or not. In case of water filters of Eureka Forbes almost all customers face the same problems. Every time a different technician comes to service the water filter under AMC and every time you get a different answer to your problem and at the same time your problem is not solved. more
