Ethanol blend in Petrol

Ethanol blend in petrol has been considered as an easy option to neutralise the rising cost of Petrol. It was earlier 5% and now enhanced to 10%. Whether there is a visible impact of such blend on fuel efficiency and existing Vehicle engine's life in long term? What's the opinion of experts and OMCs? more

BS 6 petrol engines the best. They combust petrol entirely, neutralising it's price rise. Cannot enhance ethanol percentage randomly, as ethanol -petrol chemistry involved. more

I learn that on both counts, there are damages and disadvantages. Thus, the blending is perhaps being limited to optimal level. more
